Senior Property Tax Reductions for the Village of Freeport and Nassau County

With Joe Mazza on Tuesday, September 8; Friday, September 11; and Monday, September 14 from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., by appointment only. Mr. Mazza, a volunteer with Family and Children’s Association, will be at the Library to help seniors, veterans, and those who are physically or mentally challenged complete initial applications and annual renewal forms for property tax reductions. Applicants must have annual incomes less than $40,000. Those renewing their request must bring their renewal forms. Those who are fi ling for the first time may pick up an applications at the Library. Please call the Community Services Desk at 516-379-3274, ext. 207, to schedule a one-hour appointment.
